Una idea: el chirrido de las escaleras mecánicas de la estación cuando llueve, me parece una metáfora del mal funcionamiento de nuestro día a día en los días de mal tiempo. Los viajes se vuelven aparatosos, los horarios azarosos. La ciudad pierde brillo, los defectos se hacen patentes. Hacer se vuelve más complicado. Quiero utilizar esta banda sonora, tengo que conseguir grabarlo. Por lo tanto, tiene que llover... Espero. Se trata de un material que ya conozco, que he escuchado en muchas ocasiones mientras otros pasajeros aparentaban ignorarlo. Pero tengo que estar en el lugar adecuado en el momento oportuno. Una estación de tren de Barcelona en día de lluvia.
He usado también grabaciones del puerto de la isla de La Graciosa, en Canarias.
No intento representar una situación concreta, más bien que los sonidos tengan su propia vida y se representen a sí mismos. Aunque no puedo desligar la toma de audio que me sirve de base de la línea principal de mi pensamiento.
La pieza se titula "Imaginària", que es el nombre que se da en los cuarteles a los turnos de guardia nocturnos.

One idea: the squeak of the escalators from the station when it rains, it seems a metaphor for the malfunction of our daily life in the days of bad weather. Trips become cumbersome, random times. The city loses luster, defects are evident. To do it gets more complicated. I want to use this soundtrack, to record it. Therefore, it has to rain ... I hope. It is a material that I already know, I've heard many times while other passengers appeared to ignore. But I have to be in the right place at the right time. A train station in Barcelona rainy day.
I have also used recordings of the port on the island of La Graciosa, Canary Islands.
No attempt to represent a particular situation, rather than the sounds have their own life and represent themselves. Although I cannot detach the audio jack that underlies my main line of my thought.
The piece is called "imaginary", which is the name given in the barracks at night guard duty.
