Es una pieza sonora que narra el proceso de adaptación en “tiempos de crisis” de un miembro de la familia que regresa al hogar parental.
Exceptuando momentos de recaída, el proceso torna en un reencuentro introspectivo del que se rescatan conocimientos almacenados “al fondo del trastero” y que teniendo ahora gran cantidad de tiempo desocupado son de gran utilidad para poner “al dia” la agenda familiar en esta vuelta al pueblo.
Ejercer de “taxista familiar”, de chapista y mecánico de tu viejo coche, de albañil, agricultor, y por qué no repasar y reforzar idiomas, o simplemente compartir momentos, hablar y escuchar a quien, por falta de tiempo o lejanía no podías prestar tanta atención.
Fragmentos de estos y otros momentos han sido recogidos durante horas olvidando en ocasiones que la grabadora seguía en marcha o ignorando si aún quedaba espacio en su memoria, para posteriormente editar un montaje de cortes marcados, evidenciando el “cambio de plano” de las diferentes acciones y acentuándolas con las frases de la plataforma de idiomas, gratuita y colaborativa “Duolingo1” de un modo que referencia a la instalación interactiva “Listening Post2” de Mark Hansen y Ben Rubin, y aportando una dosis de positivismo mediante la idea del “Do It Yourself”, el hazlo tú mismo o trabajar para si mismo como alternativa a un estancamiento colectivo.
